For years when I went on my remote fishing trips, I was always frustrated that there were rarely anchors in the boats. I can imagine why, they get lost over the years and they are heavy for people to bring in their own. A few years ago a fellow angler shared his trick, to just bring basketball netting, and some rope. Tie off one end of the netting, add rocks, tie the top to the rope and instant anchor. Make it as heavy as you want, and it creates almost no weight to your packing list. Enjoy!
